Sunday Café & Creche

Sunday Café & Creche children enjoyed taking part in the nativity with Clydebank Waterfront. We had hoped to have a party post Christmas but, due to the rising numbers in Covid cases, unfortunately it was postponed. This will take place soon however and the children are looking forward to it. The older children are coming along to help (with the added bonus of the offer of a Big Mac!!)

We continue to follow the Roots resource which is a resource for all ages from toddlers to young people. We are planning on having a dedicated prayer space where we can offer space for our children to express their prayers for our world (in particular the war in Ukraine) and for each other.

Roots now has a new additional resource called “Discovering God” which creates a space to recognise feelings and emotions in our life and how we respond to these feelings. This will be a wonderful resource for our children and young people as we come out of the pandemic and will be done through informal chats and discussions.

Please keep our children and young people in your prayers. If you would like to volunteer for the Sunday Café, please speak to Morag or myself. It would be lovely to have more people involved with our young people.
